- To monitor the implementation of legislation passed by the 69th Legislature to improve health care services to low-income Texans to insure that legislative intent is being followed, that proper coordination is being achieved, and that the results of the programs meet expectations.
- The committee shall evaluate the programs to discover problems with administration and design and shall formulate suggested remedies for any problems.
