W.L. McGaughey, Commissioner of the General Land Office, was impeached by the House of Representatives and that information relayed to the Senate 4/8/1893. Lieutenant Governor Crane announced committee to establish rules and procedures for the Senate 4/15/1893 when Senate sat as high court of impeachment.
