Charge: This report should address the charge below.
1. The Committee shall review current employement issues, including, but not limited to, use of the State Classification System, retention of state employees, cost of employee benefits, the use of the optional retirement/benefits program, factors that justify pay differentials, and the furtherance of a merit-based compensation system. The Committee's report shall recommend changes in law and agency/board/commission practices necessary to implement its recommendations.
