09/11/1937 Calling a special session of the 45th Legislature to begin on September 27, 1937, to pass laws levying taxes to raise revenues sufficient to adequately provide for the wiping out of the deficit of the General Fund and to make income equal outgo from said fund, to provide additional funds to be allocated for old age assistance, to provide for aid to the needy blind, the dependent, neglected and needy children, and to take care under the State's portion under the Teachers' Retirement Amendment and Act
05/27/1937 Calling a special session of the 45th Legislature to begin on May 27, 1937, to outlaw and prohibit the so-called pari-mutuel betting or gaming on horse races, at race tracks, legalized by the Acts of the 43rd Legislature in 1933 (HB 12, 43rd 1st C.S.)
