HB 138 Caption: Relating to making an emergency appropriation for the Water Resources Committee.
HB 144 Caption: Relating to amending certain Statutes by requiring written notice to the Board of Water Engineers and the district's board of directors of any substantial alteration in plans and specifications of district projects approved by said Board; authorizing inspection by the Board during construction.
HB 145 Caption: Relating to amending certain Statutes so as to declare as presumably abandoned all certified filings heretofore filed with and permits heretofore issued by the Board of Water Engineers and permits hereafter issued by the Board of Water Engineers or its successor, which certified filings and permits authorize the appropriation of public waters, when no part of the waters authorized to be appropriated has ever been put to beneficial use at any time during a ten-year period preceding the effective date of the Act or the date of cancellation proceedings authorized hereby.
HB 146 Caption: Relating to amending certain Acts so as to prescribe those who may appear and contest the creation of a water control and improvement district; prescribing the procedure for appealing from an order of the Commissioners' Court or Board of Water Engineers granting or refusing a petition for the creation of a water control and improvement district.
HB 147 Caption: Relating to amending certain Acts by removing the authority of the board of directors of a water control and improvement district to enter into contracts for the construction of works of improvement by private negotiation; reducing the amount of expenditure for contracts made by the Directors of said districts; making provision for publication of notice in districts of more than four counties.

HB 27 Caption: Relating to requiring every water district, created pursuant to the Constitution of Texas, to file with the Board of Water Engineers or its successor a certified copy of the Act or order creating same or altering its boundaries, as well as such information necessary to maintain an up-to-date list of its officers; providing penalties for violations.
HB 453 Caption: Relating to authorizing the consolidation of rural high school districts with independent school districts by election by a majority vote in each district; classifying rural high school districts as common school districts for certain purposes; providing that school districts formed under the provisions of this Act shall be independent school districts; making provision for the names of and trustees for such school districts; providing invalidity of a portion of this Act shall not invalidate any other part of the Act.
HB 473 Caption: Relating to requiring certain inspections and permits concerning livestock and fowl; providing for the collection of fees and charges for required permits, certifications and inspections of livestock and fowl; fixing penalties; creating a special fund; containing a separability clause; repealing all laws in conflict.
HB 571 Caption: Relating to constituting a local law for the maintenance of the public roads and highways in Hale County by authorizing the County to issue certificates of indebtedness for the purpose of acquiring right of way for designated State Highways or Federal Highways when the acquisition of such right of way is approved by the State Highway Commission.
HB 610 Caption: Relating to ratifying, confirming, and validating the designation of Subdivision Number Two of the Underground Water Reservoir in the Ogallala formation North of the Canadian River in Texas, dated August 16, 1954, and of the creation and establishment of Ground Water Conservation District Number Two, North of the Canadian River.
HB 719 Caption: Relating to authorizing the Commissioner of the General Land Office to accept, approve and file corrected field notes to any survey of land in the State of Texas, where said corrected field notes are made by a duly authorized official land surveyor and based upon possession and acquiescence for twenty-five (25) years; authorizing the present owners of said surveys to purchase excess acreage revealed by said corrected filed notes at a price to be set by the School Land Board; providing that said resurveys shall not shift the lines of any survey where the lines of said surveys have been fixed by a court decree or by contract in writing between the parties; providing that deeds of acquittance so issued shall inure to the benefit of all holders of a portion of a survey, and that said deeds of acquittance shall not disturb the divisional or partitioning lines of surveys where said surveys are divided into smaller tracts.
HB 827 Caption: Relating to providing for the establishment of standards of quality in marketing of eggs, for the grading of eggs, that the Commissioner of Agriculture be designated the official responsible for establishing and enforcing the regulations, authorizing an inspection fee for penalties and violations of regulations and providing for certain exemptions and the initial financing of the program.
