HB 50 Caption: Relating to amending the Election Code of the State of Texas, to provide that the name of no candidate shall appear more than once upon the official ballot, except as a candidate for two (2) or more offices permitted by the Constitution to be held by the same person.
HB 229 Caption: Relating to abolishing the "State Approval Agency for Veterans' Education" and repealing all appropriations to such agency.
HB 379 Caption: Relating to amending certain Statutes by requiring the State Board of Control to purchase manufactured products of visually handicapped persons or workshops for the blind.
HB 382 Caption: Relating to providing for the regulation and licensing of the occupation of contracting for the performance of painting, decorating and paper-hanging, or any of these occupations; making an appropriation of fees prescribed.

HJR 14 Caption: Proposing a constitutional amendment giving the Legislature the power to provide for assistance to needy individuals, eighteen (18) years of age or older, who are permanently and totally disabled by reason of a mental or physical handicap, who are residents of the State of Texas, except that the individuals who are receiving aid for the permanently and totally disabled may not, during the same period of time, receive Old Age Assistance, Aid to the Needy Blind, or Aid to Dependent Children; providing that the Legislature shall have the authority to accept from the Government of the United States financial aid for the permanently and totally disabled individuals; providing that the amount paid to any individual may not exceed Twenty Dollars ($20) a month out of State funds.
