HB 153 Caption: Relating to amending Statutes so as to tax the occupation of manufacturing and producing of carbon black irrespective of the raw materials used or methods employed.
HB 154 Caption: Relating to amending certain acts so as to increase the rate of tax levied on sulphur producers.
HB 179 Caption: Relating to amending certain statutes so as to increase the tax on producers of natural gas.
HB 180 Caption: Relating to amending certain statutes so as to regulate the sale of gas for the prevention of further waste; providing that the sale of gas for less than 10 cents per thousand cubic feet shall constitute waste; providing exceptions; prescribing certain powers of the Railroad Commission of Texas; defining "gas" and "cubic foot of gas" as used herein.
HB 274 Caption: Relating to providing for the disposition of funds in possession of banks, trust companies, savings and loan associations and other corporations where the owner thereof is unknown or his address is unknown; providing a penalty for violation of this act.
HB 299 Caption: Relating to allowing additional compensation for deputy sheriffs; providing that this act shall be cumulative of other laws pertaining to such compensation.
HB 653 Caption: Relating to authorizing the appointment of assistant district attorneys and investigators and the employment of stenographers for the district attorneys of the 51st Judicial District, composed of the Counties of Tom Green, Irion, Schleicher, Coke, and Sterling, and the 119th Judicial District, composed of the Counties of Coleman, Concho, Runnels, and Tom Green.
HB 701 Caption: Relating to amending certain acts so as to provide that any bonds or notes issued hereunder shall bear interest at the rate not to exceed six per cent (6%) per annum and shall finally mature not more than forty (40) years from date.

HB 74 Caption: Relating to amending Statutes relating to construction of buildings at the Texas State Prison System.
HB 177 Caption: Relating to amending a previous statute, prescribing the qualifications of the Adjutant General and Assistant Adjutant General.
HB 221 Caption: Relating to creating a special road law for Reagan County, Texas, providing that said County may fund or refund the indebtedness outstanding against its Road and Bridge Fund as of March 20, 1949, setting forth the method of operation; enacting provisions incident and relating to the subject and purposes of this Act; repealing all laws in conflict.
HB 287 Caption: Relating to amending a previous Act, in which an individual bequeathed the State Tuberculosis Sanatorium, a part of Jefferson City, to now authorize the State Board of Control to sell the land.
HB 379 Caption: Relating to reorganizing the 70th Judicial District of Texas to be constituted of Midland and Ector Counties and to provide for the terms thereof; providing for a saving clause; repealing all laws in conflict herewith to the extent of such conflict only.
HB 474 Caption: Relating to amending a previous Act, authorizing the appointment by District Attorney or Criminal District Attorneys of investigators or assistants and a stenographer in certain Judicial Districts; repealing all laws in conflict to the extent of the conflict.
HB 488 Caption: Relating to providing for additional compensation for all County and Precinct Officers and for their deputies, clerks and assistants; providing that this Act shall be cumulative of all present laws; providing that this Act shall be directory.
HB 528 Caption: Relating to amending a previous Act, providing that persons who desire to marry shall procure a license from the County clerk directed to all persons authorized by law to celebrate the rites of matrimony; providing that the County Clerk at the time the license is applied for shall examine the applicant or applicants for the license, under oath, as to age and residence, which shall be reduced to writing by the County Clerk and subscribed to by the applicant or applicants; and providing in case either party is absent when application is made an affidavit shall be made by person other than the contracting party as to age and residence of the absent party; providing for the filing of said affidavit in the County Clerk's office; providing that application for license shall be made at least three and not more than thirty days before the license shall be issues; providing for the recording of applications for license by the County Clerk in a book kept for that purpose and marked 'Notice of Intention to Marry' and providing that after the expiration of three and not more than thirty days after the signing of the notice of intention to marry the County Clerk may issue said license, providing for a certification from a reputable licensed physician showing the man to be free from all vernal diseases; providing for the repeal of all laws in conflict with the provisions of this Act.
HB 531 Caption: Relating to amending a certain Article relative to residence of plaintiffs in divorce suits; repealing all laws and parts of laws in conflict herewith.
HB 622 Caption: Relating to amending a previous Act, to provide for acknowledgments of spouses of members of the armed forces, Civil Service Employees, civilian employees and Red Cross Workers in territory officially occupied by the forces of the United States before any commissioned officer of the armed forces of the United States or the Auxiliaries thereto.
HB 757 Caption: Relating to creating a conservation district comprising the territory contained within the cities of Big Spring and Odessa, for the purpose of providing a source of water supply for municipal, domestic and industrial use and processing and transporting the same; enacting other provisions relating to the subject.
HB 903 Caption: Relating to authorizing any city or town within or town within this State to enter into a contract with any District or authority for supplying water to such city and authorizing such city to lease its water production, water supply and water supply facilities to such District, or make contract with such District for the operation of such water facilities; enacting other provisions related to the subject.
