HB 16 Caption: Relating to declaring the floods of Lavaca County, Texas to be a public calamity; authorizing for a period of ten years, commencing with September 1st following the adoption of this Act, a donation and grant to Lavaca County Flood Control District of one-half of the State ad valorem taxes collected in Lavaca County for flood control improvement and maintenance purposes.
