SB 11 Caption: Relating to amending certain Statues by increasing restrictions at railroad crossings on all vehicles carrying explosive substances or flammable liquids as principal cargo.

SB 15 Caption: Relating to providing for the changing of the name of John Tarleton Agricultural College, at Stephenville, Erath County, to the "Tarleton State College", and providing that wherever such name or reference of name appears in the Revised Statutes of Texas, 1925, or any amendment thereto, or in any Acts of any Legislature, passed since the adoption of said Revised Statutes or in any court decisions, shall mean and apply to the new name.
SB 16 Caption: Relating to making appropriations to pay deficiency appropriations granted to the State Soil Conservation Board, to pay the supervisors of soil conservation districts in Texas.
SB 17 Caption: Relating to providing a sanitary and healthful method of wrapping an packaging of straws, tubes, or other similar devices for use of customers in public places; providing a penalty; providing a severance clause.
SB 18 Caption: Relating to providing grants to soil conservation districts; providing for money to be appropriated out of any monies in the State Treasury not otherwise appropriated.
SB 91 Caption: Relating to transfer all the duties of the respective Tax Assessors and Collectors of the counties of Texas to the State Highway Department in administering all the laws of Texas regarding the registration and titling of motor vehicles, trailers, semi-trailers and such other vehicles as are required to be registered before use upon the highways of Texas and in collecting all sales taxes imposed upon the transfer of such vehicles; repealing all laws and parts of laws in conflict to the extent of the conflict only; and providing a savings clause.
SB 113 Caption: Relating to amending a previous Act, raising the Highway Commission from a three to a five-man Commission.
SB 114 Caption: Relating to amending a previous Act, providing that city councils, at their discretion, may require bonds of police officers for the faithful performance of their duties.
SB 215 Caption: Relating to requiring all railroad companies or receivers of any railroad companies to equip cabooses or other cars used as cabooses with electric lights; prescribing a penalty for violatoin of Act; proiding that if any section, sentence, or clause shall be declared invalid by the courts, that other sections or parts of this Act shall not be affected thereby.
SB 295 Caption: Relating to providing for the establishment of a Medical Branch of The University of Texas in Temple or Bell County, Texas; providing a saving clause; repealing all laws or parts of laws in conflict with this Act to the extent of such conflict only.
SB 446 Caption: Relating to authorize the increase of licenses to Vocational Nurses in this State by a Board of Vocational Nurse Examiners; providing a saving clause; repealing all laws or parts of laws in conflict herewith.

HB 163 Caption: Relating to amending a certain Article of the 1925 Revised Civil Statutes; providing that counties, cities and towns shall collect an occupation tax on individuals, companies, corporations, or associations owning, operating, managing, or controlling any gas, electric light, electric power, or water works, or water or light plants equal to one-half the occupation tax now levied by the State, or which may hereafter be levied by the State.
HB 183 Caption: Relating to amending a certain Section of the Acts of the 43rd Legislature (R.S.); prohibiting the purchase or the contract to purchase any passenger automobiles by any State officials or employees to be paid for out of the funds of the State of Texas, or for any department thereof.
