SB 93 Caption: Relating to insurance companies authorized to invest funds in certain securities insured by National Housing Act.

SB 375 Caption: Relating to providing that it shall be a misdemeanor for one to enter upon lands of the other without the consent of the owner, his agent or person in possession thereof, where said lands in one inclosure is less than two thousand acres, and to hunt therein with firearms, or fish in any pond, lake, tank, stream or other salt or fresh water, or otherwise depredate on same; providing a penalty.
SB 376 Caption: Relating to the conservation and development of lands in the State of Texas, pursuant to Section 59 of Article 16 of the State Constitution declaring and providing that the growth of cedar upon lands is injurious to the value of such lands and the use thereof and benefits to be described therefrom and is, and constitutes a public nuisance and that the eradication of such growths of cedar constitutes a public benefit and use.
SB 390 Caption: Relating to providing compensation for temporary county clerks in certain counties.
SB 391 Caption: Relating to authorizing the Commissioner of the General Land Office of the State of Texas to execute a quitclaim deed of such rights or titles as the State of Texas may have in and to certain missions located in Bexar County, Texas, to the Government of the United States of America upon condition that they be used as national monuments, and that such Federal Government shall accept same within two years from the date of such quitclaim, otherwise the property shall revert to the State of Texas.
SB 448 Caption: Relating to making an appropriation of Five Hundred Seventy-five Dollars ($8,575.00) for materials to repair and construct buildings.
SB 451 Caption: Relating to amending the "Bond and Warrant Law of 1931," by adding a new Section, to provide that the provisions of Section 4 of said Bond and Warrant Law shall not apply to the issuance of warrants for building, construction, reconstruction and/or repair of a court house and/or jail in any county where the court house has been torn down or demolished, and where notice was given under Section 2 of said Bond and Warrant Law prior to the taking effect of this Act, and there was no county court house at the time such notice was published.
SB 470 Caption: Relating to providing that no warrant shall be issued by the Comptroller to any person indebted to the State, or to his agent or assignee, if such indebtedness is made known to the Comptroller before the issuance of the warrant in certain circumstances.
SB 479 Caption: Relating to creating a conservation and reclamation district to be known as "Gulf Water Supply District," consisting of that part of the State included within the Counties of Wilson, Karnes, Bee, San Patricio and Nueces, for fresh water supply purposes, including the power and authority to furnish a water supply to towns, cities, private corporations and individuals.

SB 73 Caption: Relating to requiring all candidates for State, district, county and precinct offices in primary elections, in addition to the requirements now provided by law, to include in said request for place on primary ballot, a statement signed and acknowledged by the candidate, that the candidate supported and voted for all candidates of the party (naming the political party) at the next preceding general election in Texas.
SB 74 Caption: Relating to providing that official ballots for primary elections shall have no symbol or device or any printed matter, except a uniform primary test, stating the test and to be signed by the voter offering to vote the ballot, and providing that any ballot which shall not contain such printed test above the names of the candidates on said ballot, and signed by the voter shall not be counted.
SB 75 Caption: Relating to regulating the occupation and practice of cosmetology; creating a State Board of Cosmetologists for the licensing of persons, firms, co-partnerships, associations or corporations to carry on and/or to teach such practice, to insure the better education of such practitioners; providing rules regulating the proper conduct and sanitation of cosmetologists establishments and schools for the protection of the public health, and providing penalties for violation thereof.
SB 133 Caption: Relating to providing for the appointment by the district judge of the 25th Judicial District of Texas, composed of the counties of Guadalupe, Gonzales, Colorado and Lavaca, or the judge of the judicial district of whic the counties of Guadalupe, Gonzales, Colorado and Lavaca are a part thereof, of an official shorthand reporter for such district.
SB 148 Caption: Relating to the creation of corporations for the purpose of dealing in agricultural commodities, poultry, dairy products and livestock produced in the United States; enumerating the power and authority of such corporations.
SB 149 Caption: Relating to providing that the ocunting judge, who reads or announces (or claims to read or announce) from a ballot the name of a candidate voted for on or by such ballot, shall personally endorse his or her name (in his or her own handwriting) on the back of such ballot before he permits such ballot to be deposited in ballot box "No. 3".
SB 150 Caption: Relating to providing that lawful rate of "conventional interest" shall not exceed six per centum per annum and providing penalties for contracting for and/or receiving interest at a rate higher than six per centum per annum.
SB 236 Caption: Relating to authorizing savings banks, banking institutions, trust companies, insurance companies and building and loan associations organized under the laws of this State and any person acting as executor, administrator, guardian or trustee to invest in the bonds, debentures or other obligations issued by any Federal Home Loan Bank organized pursuant to the Federal Home Loan Bank Act.
SB 237 Caption: Relating to prohibiting any owner or person having control of horses, mules, donkeys, cows, bulls, steers, hogs, sheep, goats or any other livestock from permitting or allowing the same to traverse or roam at large upon any designated State highway of this State unattended, providing a penalty.
SB 238 Caption: Relating to providing that no commissioners court or governing body of any city or town shall make contracts calling for or requiring the expenditure or payment of $2,000.00 or more, without first submitting such proposed contract to competitive bids.
SB 257 Caption: Relating to the investment of sinking funds created for the purpose of paying the bonds of any county, city, town, school district, or improvement district; requiring the treasurer or other depository of any such county, city, town, or district to report to the State Comptroller each purchase of bonds as investments for such sinking funds, and the amount paid therefor; prescribing penalty for failure to make such report, and the method of recovering such penalty.
SB 284 Caption: Relating to providing that any banking corporation , association or individual banker (other than a national bank) designated as a county depository or as a city depository, and having on deposit any county or city funds or funds of any political subdivision of the State, shall be subject to control and examination by the Banking commissioner of the State of Texas in all respects, as is provided for state banks and trust companies under the provisions of certain statute.
SB 320 Caption: Relating to providing for conventions to pass on amendments to the Constitutino of the United States which may be now or may be hereafter proposed by the Congress of the United States for ratification by conventions in the several states.
SB 321 Caption: Relating to requiring Courts of Civil Appeals to certify to the Supreme Court for its decision any question of law involved in a case of which the Supreme Court cannot take jurisdiction by writ of error, and which is important to the jurisprudence of the State, and has not been previously decided by the Supreme Court.
SB 322 Caption: Relating to giving the Supreme Court jurisdiction of cases involving revenues of the State, cases in which the Railroad Commission is a party, and in cases in which it is made to appear that an error of substantive law has been committed by a Court of Civil Appeals which affects the judgment in the case.

SB 394 Caption: Relating to requiring all counties, cities, towns, school districts and improvement districts to file annual reports with the State Comptroller relating to their finances, debts, obligations, sinking funds, taxable values and other resources.
SB 416 Caption: Relating to providing that the Banking Commissioner of the State of Texas, with the approval of the Governor of Texas, from and after the passage of this Act, be and he is hereby authorized and empowered to declare financial moratoriums for and invoke a uniform limitation withdrawal, coextensive with the boundaries of the State, of deposits from all State Banks, National Banks, State Banks and Trust Companies, Trust Companies, Private Banks, Building and Loan Associations, and all other banking and financial institutions in the State of Texas, or both such moratoriums and limitations of withdrawal of deposits, and to promulgate any and all orders and decrees necessary to enforce such powers herein delegated; providing penalties for violations.
SB 439 Caption: Relating to authorizing the Comptroller of Public Accounts of the State of Texas and other State officials to recognize assignments of salary due or to become due each month to any and every employee of any department of the State of Texas, to any life insurance company licensed to transact business in the State of Texas, for the purpose of paying premiums on policies of insurance on the life of the assignor or members of the assignor's immediate family.
SB 440 Caption: Relating to providing for the liquidation of solvent banks through the Banking Commissioner of Texas.
