SB 231 Caption: Relating to providing that the Commissioner of the General Land Office or any person, corporation, assignee or leaseholder holding a contract with the State of Texas for the development of the oil and gas resources in State-owned islands, salt water lakes, bays, inlets, marches and reefs within tidewater limits, and that part of the Gulf of Mexico within the jurisdiction of Texas, is granted the right of eminent domain and condemnation as provided by the General Laws of this State for said purpose of securing necessary right of way and land for the development of minerals in such islands, salt water lakes, bays, inlets, marshes and reefs within tidewater limits, and that part of the Gulf of Mexico within the jurisdiction of Texas.

SB 237 Caption: Relating to providing that the Supreme Court of the State of Texas shall have original jurisdiction in the matter of issuing the writ of mandamus or any other mandatory or compulsory writ or process to compel the performance by any judge of a district court, in this state, of any duty imposed upon him or them, respectively, by the Constitution and laws of this State.
SB 260 Caption: Relating to providing that the District Attorney of the Seventh Judicial District shall receive the same per diem for not to exceed sixty days in excess of the maximum number of days provided by the Acts of the Regular Session of the Forty Third Legislature, as he receives now under the provisions of said Acts.
SB 311 Caption: Relating to providing the maximum and excess fees which all officers named herein shall be entitled to receive and retain, and the disposition to be made of the remainder fixing the maximum compensation to be paid deputies, assistants and clerks and the manner in which same may be appointed and paid.
SB 414 Caption: Relating to authorizing and making it the mandatory duty of the Board of Insurance Commissioners of Texas to require each and every insurance company, which term shall include capital stock, mutual and reciprocal companies, inter-exchanges, Lloyd's and insurance companies of any and every nature and class whether or not specifically named herein, doing business in this State, to make a report of every loss that occurs within the State wherein the property destroyed or damaged is insured by such company against fire, tornado, windstorm and/or hail, which terms include such insurances as use and occupancy, rental, leasehold, demolition, improvements and betterments and any and every other form of insurance protection whether herein specifically named or not, in such manner and upon such forms as are herein prescribed.
SB 415 Caption: Relating to providing that all insurance companies, whether specifically named or not, issuing or delivering any form of insurance policy in this State, other than fire, life, tornado, windstorm, hail, workmen's compensation, or automobile insurance policies, shall file with the Commissioner its classification of risks and premium rates or schedules.
SB 416 Caption: Relating to providing that no portion of the net premium collected upon any policy issued or delivered in this State shall ever be used or applied for the payment of any expenses of the company.
SB 417 Caption: Relating to amending certain statute with respect to the powers and duties of the Insurance Commission so as to require, in the approval, promulgation and/or fixing of rates for insurance in this State where, such authority or power is extended to the Commission, that said commission shall give consideration to the experience on the class of coverage and class of risks over a period of at least five years.
SB 445 Caption: Relating to ordering and authorizing the Governor and Commissioner of General Land Office to convey and quitclaim to the trustees of the Troup Consolidated Independent School District in Smith and Cherokee Counties, Texas, and their successor in office for the use and benefit to said Troup Consolidated Independent School District.

SB 334 Caption: Relating to providing for the character of repairs and extensions of utilities necessary to render efficient service which shall be a first lien and charge upon the incomes of the particular utility which is repaired or extended, and providing that bonds issued under the provisions of this Act may be approved by the Attorney General and registered by the Comptroller; providing for proper records to be kept of income and expenses, providing a penalty for failure to maintain such records.
SB 388 Caption: Relating to ordering and authorizing the Governor of the State of Texas and the Commissioner of the General Land Office of the State of Texas to convey and quitclaim to the trustees of the Troup Consolidated Independent School District the now abandoned site, lands and property of the Troup Experiment Station located partly in and partly contiguous to the city limits of the town of Troup in Smith County, Texas, the total consideration for said conveyance being to the State of Texas that said lands and property were heretofore deeded to the Governor of the State of Texas by the citizens without cost to the State for public use, which said public use has now ceased.
SB 402 Caption: Relating to regulating the production, storage, transportation, and other handling of cruse, petroleum oil, and natural gas; prescribing offenses, fines, and penalties.
SB 417 Caption: Relating to providing that the notes, bonds, or other obligations or evidences of indebtedness of any person, firm or corporation holding mortgages or other liens on Texas real estate, may be tendered and shall be accepted in payment and satisfaction in whole or in part of the principal or interest due or to become due on such indebtedness.
SB 488 Caption: Relating to amending the Special Road Law for Smith County, Texas, so as to provide that each officer and witness shall be allowed to receive on half his fees exclusive of commissions whenever a county convict shall have discharged the fine and costs adjudged against him in full by work or by work and money.

SB 34 Caption: Relating to amending the Special Road Law for Smith County so as to further provide that the Commissioners' Court of Smith County, Texas shall provide for the transportation of the county convicts who may be ordered to work on said roads, and for the transportation from place to place in the county of the various employees and hands, laborers, mechanics, and artisans who may be employed on the roads and bridges of Smith County, Texas, as well as the transportation of the members of the Court in the inspection and general supervision of the roads and bridges of Smith County, Texas by providing for the purchase by the Court of such motor vehicles, motor trucks and trailers as may appear reasonably necessary and proper by said Court for said purposes.
