SB 92 Caption: Relating to amending certain Act regulating barbers by changing the renewal fee for certificate of registration from $2.50 per year thereof to $3.50 per year; providing for stricter regulations with reference to health regulations; providing for an annual license fee on barber shops, providing for a fee as a prerequisite to opening and operating a barber ship, defining the barber school and providing for a fee for an inspection thereof.
SB 99 Caption: Relating to making appropriations for the support and maintenance of West Texas State Teachers College and for the erection of permanent improvements at the West Texas State Teachers College.
SB 136 Caption: Relating to providing a quorum for the Board of Cosmetology and that said Board may prescribe necessary rules and regulations for its own conduct and for the enforcement of the provisions of certain Act, authorizing said Board with the approval of the State Board of Health to prescribe sanitary rules to prevent the spread of contagious diseases.
SB 171 Caption: Relating to levying a tax upon foreign assessments life and casualty companies and providing that foreign assessments life and casualty companies admitted to do business in Texas under certain statute, shall pay taxes under, and in accordance with, the provisions of said statute.

SB 324 Caption: Relating to subjecting unappropriated and unsold public domain to sale and prescribing the terms, condition and manner in which said lands are to be sold.
SB 326 Caption: Relating to providing for the adoption by the State of Texas of the Uniform Declaratory Judgments Act, vesting power in Courts of Record in this State within their respective jurisdictions to hear proceedings to declare rights, status, and other legal relations, which judgments so declaring such relations shall have the force and effect of a final judgment and decree.
SB 327 Caption: Relating to adopting the uniform State Law for Aeronautics, declaring sovereignty in space above lands and waters in this State to be in the State of Texas.
SB 328 Caption: Relating to providing for the appointment by the Governor of three commissioners as members from Texas to the National Conference of Commissioners on Uniform State Laws, with terms of office of two years, setting forth the qualifications of such commissioners, and providing that they shall serve without compensation or expense to the State.
SB 342 Caption: Relating to creating a Special Road Law for Castro County, Texas, providing that said County may fund or refund designated interest-bearing time warrants in an amount not exceeding Eight Thousand ($8,000.00) Dollars and designated scrip warrants in an amount not exceeding Fifteen Thousand Seven Hundred Forty-five and 21/100 ($15,745.21) Dollars, outstanding against its Road and Bridge Fund as of January 1, 1937, by the issuance of funding bonds, and setting forth the method of issuing same.
SB 382 Caption: Relating to sale and lease of public school lands.
SB 383 Caption: Relating to declaring the policy of the State of Texas with reference to the production and conservation of natural gas and protection of correlative rights of owners of gas producing properties by preventing cognizable and preventable damage; prescribing the penalties for violations of this Act and authorizing suits for penalties in the name of the State and fixing the venue of such suits.
SB 384 Caption: Relating to providing and authorizing that any bonds, interest thereon, or similar obligations, issued by any municipality of political division of the State may be made payable at the office of the State Treasurer.

SB 452 Caption: Relating to creating a more efficient Road Law for Parmer County, Texas, authorizing the Commissioners' Court to require surety bonds of road overseers, validating certain time warrants and the proceedings heretofore had by the County and by its officials in reference to the issuance of certain time warrants for the purchase of rights-of-way, authorizing the Commissioners' Court of said County to issue serial coupon bonds of said County in the funding of said time warrants, and to levy all or any part of the Fifteen Cents Special Road and Bridge Maintenance Tax of said County for payment of said bonds.
SB 457 Caption: Relating to authorizing the Board of Directors of Texas Technological College and the Board of Directors of Texas College of Arts and Industries and the Board of Regents of the Texas state Teachers Colleges to erect and equip and make contracts for the erection and equipping of dormitories, other buildings and improvements on the campus or other real estate purchased or leased for the purpose.
SB 486 Caption: Relating to providing for changing and prescribing times of holding Court in the 84th Judicial District of Texas.

SB 195 Caption: Relating to repealing certain authorizing the Banking Commissioner of the State of Texas with the approval of the Governor to declare financial moratoriums for and invoking a uniform withdrawing of deposits from all banks in this State.
SB 202 Caption: Relating to providing for and regulating nominations of candidates for District Judges, Criminal District Judges, Justices of the Court of Civil Appeals, Judges of the Court of Criminal Appeals, and Justices of the Supreme Court by political parties casting one hundred thousand votes or more for their candidate for Governor at the next preceding general election.
SB 203 Caption: Relating to validating all tax levies for road purposes only, made under authority of Section 9 of Article 8 of the Constitution of the State of Texas, where such levies apply to entire counties but which were voted by separate subdivisions of such counties.
SB 204 Caption: Relating to providing for a closed season on wild prairie chickens and pinnated grouse in the counties of Collingsworth, Wheeler, Hemphill, Lipscomb, Gray, Roberts, and Donley for a period of five years.
SB 205 Caption: Relating to withdrawing from appearing party review in Court of Civil Appeals by means of writ of error.
SB 206 Caption: Relating to authorizing the Commissioner of the General Land Office to accept, approve and file corrected field notes to any survey of land in Swisher County where said corrected field notes are made by a duly authorized official land surveyor and based upon the "Hutchinson Iron Pipe Survey."
SB 207 Caption: Relating to amending certain statute relating to suit brought for performance of obligation, by distinctly specifying that the county which is involved in the suit, must be named by the writing expressly.
SB 208 Caption: Relating to preserving filed pleadings by making just and convenient regulations to such end.
SB 209 Caption: Relating to providing that attorneys from other jurisdictions shall be required to pass the examination given to other applicants, with exception respecting participation by such attorneys in the trial of hearing of any particular case wherein a resident practicing attorney of Texas is actually employed, associated and personally participating.

SB 353 Caption: Relating to defining and regulating the practice of shorthand reporting; creating a State Board of Shorthand Reporting, defining its powers, providing for fees and for their disbursement, and for the examination and certification of shorthand reporters, with the designation of "Certified Shorthand Reporters."
SB 364 Caption: Relating to amending certain statute providing qualifications prerequisite to exempt from taxation for institutions, except those owned by the State of Texas, the function of which is the care of, or ministration to sick or inform humans, by adding thereto another section wherein it is provided that this class of institutions, to claim exemption from taxation, must allow all reputable licensed physicians and/or surgeons the use of its facilities.
SB 478 Caption: Relating to changing the time of holding the terms of the District Court in the One Hundredth Judicial District, and providing that all process and writs heretofore issued and all recognizances and bonds heretofore made and executed and returned to existing terms of district court in the counties composing said district, together with jurors heretofore selected are valid and returnable to the first term of such court after this Act takes effect.
SB 487 Caption: Relating to declaring the policy of the State regarding conservation of natural gas produced in the State; defining certain terms and phrases as used in this Act.
SB 492 Caption: Relating to providing for the combining of the public welfare services now administered by the Board of Control through the Texas Relief Division, the Division of Child Welfare and the Division of Eleemosynary Institutions and for the administering of these services by the Division of the Public Welfare of the State Board of Control, which is herein created.

SB 117 Caption: Relating to requiring the Land Commissioner to ascertain and determine the amount of bonus and rental money due the State and by whom due under the operation, terms and conditions of the Relinquishment Act, authorizing the Land Commissioner to settle and compromise such debts with the debtors on the basis of actual amounts found due less all just and lawful credits.
SB 130 Caption: Relating to fixing the number and length of terms of district courts in Texas and prescribing rules of practice and procedure by specifying the requisites of citations issued out of district courts.
SB 131 Caption: Relating to defining the terms "common carrier," "power unit," "light engine," "passenger train," "freight train," "motor car," "engineer," "fireman," "conductor," and "brakeman"; defining the term "competent employee," and applying such term to an engineer, a fireman, Conductor, and brakeman; prohibiting any common carrier from running over its road or part of road outside of the yard limit, any motor car, passenger train, freight train, light engine, or self-propelled machine with less than a full crew of competent employees; providing a penalty for the violation of the act, suit to recover penalty at the instance of the Attorney General or county or district attorney, and providing venue for said suit.
SB 132 Caption: Relating to providing for the continuance of the trial of civil and criminal causes and matters in probate, pending in any court in this State while the Legislature is in session, where it appears by affidavit that a party to any such cause is a member of the Legislature and is attendance thereon.
SB 145 Caption: Relating to making it unlawful to tap or to drill into any pipeline or other conduit through which crude oil, gasoline, naptha, natural gas, casinghead gas or any of the manufactured or natural products thereof is transported, and declaring such acts to be penalties, prescribing a penalty therefor.
SB 188 Caption: Relating to providing that the owner of the surface or siol estate in land sold by the State, with mineral reservation may purchase the State's mineral estate in said land at a price of ten percent of the price for which the soil or surface estate was sold plus a free royalty to the State.
SB 196 Caption: Relating to providing that all taxes, whether ad valorem, occupation, or otherwise, shall be a lienon all property, both personal and real, providing that said lien shall continue, though said property is not assessed, and that buck assessments may be made on said property for any taxes due thereon.
SB 199 Caption: Relating to amending certain statute relating to the powers of a corporation engaged in the oil and gas producing business by providing that a separate corporation shall be formed to conduct the gas pipeline business in a similar manner as required for the oil pipeline business; providing that separate incorporation shall be effected not later than June 1, 1933, for issuance of permits to foreign corporations authorizing conduct of oil and gas producing business as well as gas pipeline business.
SB 200 Caption: Relating to defining "machine gun," "crimes of violence," and "person"; making it an offense to possess or use machine guns in the perpetration or attempted perpetration of crimes of violence; making it an offense to possess a machine gun for offensive or aggressive purposes; providing for the registration of machine guns by citizens with the Secretary of State and prescribing a penalty for failure to do so.
SB 212 Caption: Relating to making it an offense to manufacture, compound, mix, cultivate, grow, or in any other way produce or prepare narcotic drugs except under license obtained from Comptroller of Public Accounts; defining certain terms.
SB 215 Caption: Relating to making an appropriation of ten thousand ($10,000.000) dollars to be used by the Comptroller of Public Accounts of Texas for the purpose of paying expenses of tax supervisors to audit the accounts and records of producewrs of naturas gas, as defined in certain Act, and to enforce the further provisions of said Act.
SB 216 Caption: Relating to authorizing defendants in felony cases less than capital offenses, with the consent and approval of the Court, to waive the right of trial by jury and to be triad by the court; amending certain statutes so as to make them conform to such right; providing that when a defendant who is eligible to apply for a suspended sentence has no attorney, the Court may appoint an attorney to represent him.
SB 231 Caption: Relating to providing for the creation of new independent, common school and county line districts out of parts of other school districts.
SB 232 Caption: Relating to the mode of testing jurors in criminal cases.
SB 235 Caption: Relating to providing that the State Board of Education shall perform such duties and exercise such authority as is provided by the Constitution as is now provided by law in regard to the selection and purchase of free textbooks, and shall perform no other duties and exercise no other authority.
