HB 143 Caption: Relating to amending certain Acts creating the 94th Judicial District Court for Nueces County.
HB 429 Caption: Relating to amending certain Statutes so as to provide that any incorporated city or town in the State of Texas shall be authorized and empowered to levy and collect a license fee on motor vehicles for hire, and to regulate the sue of the same in such incorporated city or town.
HB 492 Caption: Relating to granting, selling and conveying to the City of Corpus Christi, Texas, all right, title and interest of the State of Texas to certain land in said City hitherto submerged by the waters of Corpus Christi Bay.
HB 555 Caption: Relating to amending certain Statutes by providing that the official shorthand reporter of each judicial district in this State, either a Civil or Criminal District Court, or any County Court at Law, either civil or criminal, shall receive a salary of not less than Two Thousand, Four Hundred Dollars ($2,400) nor more than Three Thousand, Seven Hundred and Fifty Dollars (3,750) per annum, to be paid monthly by the respective counties, in addition to the transcript fees and traveling and hotel expenses now provided by law.
HB 556 Caption: Relating to amending certain Articles conveying storm, floor, or rain water from place of storage to place of use.
HB 584 Caption: Relating to making an appropriation out of any moneys in the State Treasury not otherwise appropriated for the Nueces River Conservation and Reclamation District, for each of the fiscal years ending August 31, 1945, and August 31, 1946, to aid said District in making the necessary surveys and preparing the necessary plans for its construction program.
HB 651 Caption: Relating to granting to the City of Corpus Christi, Texas, all right, title and interest of the State of Texas to certain land lying and being situated under the water of Corpus Christi Bay, and granting to the said City of Corpus Christi, Texas, the right, power, and authority to locate, construct, own, and maintain certain seawalls, breakwaters or other protective structures on said lands and to fill in the space between the mainland and said seawalls, breakwaters, or other protective structures with sand, dredge spoil, or other material, and granting to the City of Corpus Christi the right to take from Corpus Christi Bay such sand, dredge spoil, or other material as may be necessary or desirable for filling in such space.
