34th Regular Session
HB 23 Caption: Relating to requiring owners or operators or lessees of coal mines in this State to furnish and equip bath houses convenient to the entrance of such mines, to enable miners to wash and change clothes before entering and after coming from such mines, and equip said bath houses with individual lockers, fixing penalties for violation thereof, and providing for the manner of enforcement.
HB 24 Caption: Relating to prohibiting the screening of coal mined in the State where the mining of such coal is paid for by the quantity mined, before it is weighed and checked; requiring the use of standard scales; giving to the miners employed in such mines the privilege of employing a check-weighman at their own expense; providing for the convenient location of scales and prescribing penalties for the violation of the provisions of this Act.

HB 18 Caption: Relating to providing the the mode by which horses, mules, jacks, jennets and cattle may be prevented from running at large in certain counties to include Palo Pinto, Medina and Waller.
HB 64 Caption: Relating to requiring owners and operators of mines in Texas to insulate or protect live wires so that persons or animals coming in contact with same shall not be injured; providing for the making and filing of maps or plats of mines; providing for exemptions to certain provisions of this Act, and to provide a penalty for such neglect.
HB 65 Caption: Relating to prohibiting any person, association of persons, corporation, or receiver, owning, operating or managing any mine in this State, from feeding or permitting to be fed any work animal in said mines, or to store or keep any feed for such animal in said mines; fixing penalties for the violation of this Act.
HB 124 Caption: Relating to providing the manner by which the qualified voters of any county or common or independent school district of any county may be petition to the county judge judge to order an election to determine whether or not such county, common or independent school district may adopt compulsory attendance by children between the ages of eight and fifteen years; prescribing penalties.

HB 44 Caption: Relating to incorporating the City of Mineral Wells, in the County of Palo Pinto, to grant it a Special Charter, and to fix its boundaries.
31st Regular Session
HB 146 Caption: Relating to amending Section 21 of "An Act providing for the health and safety of persons in and around mines, and for creating a State Mining Board and the office of State Mining Inspector, and defining the duties of such inspector," by providing that the salary of the State Mining Inspector shall be two thousand ($2,000) dollars per year, and that his traveling expenses shall not in any one year exceed the sum of one thousand ($1,000) dollars, providing for the execution of a good and sufficient bond for the faithful performance of the duties of said officer, and providing for the approval of said bond by the Governor of the State of Texas.
HB 233 Caption: Relating to amending Chapter 153 of the General Laws of the State of Texas, passed at the Regular Session of the Twenty-fifth Legislature, and amended at the Regular Session of the Twenty-sixth Legislature, and amended at the Regular Session of the Twenty-seventh Legislature, and at the First Called Session of the Twenty-seventh Legislature, and at the Regular Session of the Twenty-eighth Legislature, and as amended at the Regular Session of the Twenty-ninth Legislature, and as amended at the Regular Session of the Thirtieth Legislature, an act to prohibit the taking of fish from fresh waters and streams of this State otherwise than by means of the ordinary hook and line and trot line, and to prohibit the sale or shipping of game fish in this State; and to provide penalties for the violation thereof by fixing a penalty for the use of poison, dynamite or other explosives, in killing, catching and taking fish.
