HB 54 Caption: Relating to granting unto the municipal authorities of the city of Austin, Texas, the right to establish, operate and maintain a free public library upon a tract of land consisting of 207 by 128 feet out of the eastern portion of the north half of Block 101, in the city of Austin, Texas, and changing the designation upon the map of the city of Austin of said tract of land from church to public free library purposes.

HB 63 Caption: Relating to providing for the construction of a building to be used as a land office and for the storing and preservation of valuable state papers, and as an office for the Commissioner of Agriculture, and rooms for the Agricultural Department of this state, and to make an appropriation therefor.
HB 79 Caption: Relating to requiring dealers in spirituous, vinous and malt liquors and medicated bitters capable of producing intoxication and other persons in this state to secure a license to pursue such occupation and imposing an occupation tax.
HB 89 Caption: Relating to prescribing additional conditions upon which life insurance corporations may transact business in this State; and providing penalties for violations of certain provisions of this Act, and for the collection of such penalties.
HB 90 Caption: Relating to prohibiting the buying and selling of pools or receiving or making bets on horse racing; to prohibit the leasing of premises for pool rooms, and to provide a penalty for its violation and to repeal "An Act to prohibit the buying and selling of pools, or receiving or making bets on horse racing;" and providing that a conviction may be had upon the unsupported evidence of an accomplice or participant, and exempting such witness from prosecution.
HB 374 Caption: Relating to amending Chapter 138 of the Acts of the Thirtieth Legislature, approved April 18, 1907, the same being, "An act to regulate the sale and disposition of spirituous, vinous and malt liquors and medicated bitters capable of producing intoxication, etc." and adding Section 9a, 9b, 9c, 9d, 9e, 9f, 9g, 9h, 9i, 9j, prescribing the method and procedure for the ascertainment of the facts upon which forfeiture is based, and prescribing the duties of the county judge, Comptroller of Public Accounts, and the county attorney.
HB 444 Caption: Relating to amending "An Act to amend Article 359, Chapter 4, Title X, of the Penal Code defining what constitutes a Bawdy House and a Disorderly House," so as to provide that the provisions of Articles 362a and 362b of said Act shall not apply to, or be so construed as to interfere with the control and regulation of Bawds and Bawdy Houses and Disorderly Houses by ordinances of incorporated towns and cities acting under special charters.
HB 460 Caption: Relating to amending Article 650b, Chapter 2, Title XXI (21) of the Revised Statutes, as amended by the Twenty-ninth Legislature, Chapter 53 page 73 as as amended by the Thirtieth Legislature, Chapter CLII (152) page 294.
HB 481 Caption: Relating to providing for the joinder and impleading of all insurances companies, employers liability companies, or any other person, firm or corporation, in suits brought by any servant or employe against the master or employe for the recovery of damages for personal injuries.
HB 528 Caption: Relating to leasing to the Board of Trustees of the Confederate Woman's Home, certain described property belonging to the state of Texas, located in Austin.
HB 538 Caption: Relating to authorizing the incorporation of life, accident and health insurance companies and defining same; giving the Commissioner of Insurance and Banking authority to issue and revoke permits to such companies; providing penalties.
HB 556 Caption: Relating to corporations or others operating railroads, to be liable to employees for injuries received through the negligence of such employer.
HJR 5 Caption: Relating to amending Article 7 of the Constitution by adding thereto Section 3a, validating school districts and the bonded indebtedness of such districts and authorizing the levy and collection of taxes to pay such indebtedness.
HJR 6 Caption: Relating to amending Section Three of Article Seven of the Constitution, in regard to the formation and taxing power of school districts.

HB 108 Caption: Relating to prohibiting and rendering void in part any contract requiring the maker or payer of any bond, note, bill or obligation in writing to pay the taxes thereon, and fixing a penalty for making such contracts.
HB 109 Caption: Relating to amending certain statute relating to the rendition of property for taxation so as to provide for the listing for taxes of securities and the assessment of taxes on debts secured by liens upon real estate against the holder of such indebtedness, and the rendition by the owner of the real estate of only the value of his equity.
HB 110 Caption: Relating to providing for the payment by the person in whose name real estate is held of all taxes upon any debt secured by a lien upon such real estate, and providing that the taxes so paid shall operate as a credit upon such debt.
HB 111 Caption: Relating to prohibiting the recovery of judgment in any court exercising jurisdiction within the State of Texas upon any bond, note, bill or other obligation in writing which has not been rendered for an upon which taxes have not been paid according to law, when it is alleged and proved that such taxes have not been paid.
HB 112 Caption: Relating to requiring all incorporated stock or mutual companies doing a life insurance business within the State of Texas, to invest at least 75 percent of the reserve set apart for the final payment of policies issued in this State in Texas securities and Texas property, or in the bonds of the United States or any State of the United States, and to define Texas securities and the property in which such investments may be made, and to keeping the securities in which such reserve is invested deposited in the vaults of the Treasury of this State of Texas for the security of Texas policy holders.
HB 113 Caption: Relating to fixing the maximum rate of passenger fare over the railroads in this State, and prohibiting the issuance of free transportation to all passengers, except to certain classes therein named, by railroad corporations in Texas and providing a penalty for the issuance of such free transportation.
HB 114 Caption: Relating to defining lobbying, and prohibiting the same, and providing a penalty therefor.
HB 115 Caption: Relating to regulating the setting aside or reversal of judgments by the inferior or appellate courts of this State.

HB 367 Caption: Relating to the rendition of property for taxation, and providing that debts secured by liens upon real estate shall, for the purpose of taxation, be treated as part of the real estate.
HB 481 Caption: Relating to conferring upon the Railroad Commission of Texas the power to make temporary freight and passenger rates, whenever an emergency arises the sufficiency of which shall be judged by said Commission, in order that justice may be done or injury prevented to any person, place or locality; and to suspend temporarily any existing freight or passenger rate and to establish temporarily any freight or passenger rate where none exists.
