SB 19 Caption: Relating to amending certain Statutes so as to increase from 30 days to 90 days the period of time which must expire after suit is filed before a suit for divorce may be heard or divorce granted; excepting suits which are pending on the effective date of the Act.
SB 20 Caption: Relating to amending certain Acts to authorize the Board for Texas State Hospitals and Special Schools to contract with city, county city-county, and public non-profit hospitals for the care and medical treatment of indigent tuberculosis patients; authorizing the Board to set standards for the treatment and cure of tuberculosis, and to inspect hospitals for compliance with such standards, in the performance of said contracts; prescribing conditions, limitations, and audits, of such contracts; appropriating money for such purposes.
SB 99 Caption: Relating to the practice of barbering in this State, the organization, qualifications, duties and compensation of the State Board of Barber Examiners and its employees, the fees to be charged by the Board, qualifications for the issuance of temporary permits, and related matters; adding a new section relating to representation by the Attorney General in suits against employees of the Board; stating the effect of this Act on current registration fees; fixing the operative date of certain provisions; providing for severability.
SB 108 Caption: Relating to the construction, acquisition, and equipment of buildings and other structures and additions to buildings and other structures by the Board of Regents of the several Junior College Districts heretofore or hereafter organized; providing for the fixing of fees for the use thereof and other revenue producing buildings, structures and other property; providing for the issuance of negotiable revenue bonds and notes for certain purposes and providing for the securing of such obligations, and providing ans assuring the adequacy of such pledged income; containing a severance clause; enacting other provisions related to the subject.
SB 125 Caption: Relating to amending certain Acts by requiring thirty days publication of notice for letting certain contracts and providing that upon petition of 1% of the taxpaying voters the city or county shall call a bond election in certain circumstances.
SB 153 Caption: Relating to amending certain Acts relating to the location of cemeteries so as to permit the establishment and use of columbariums in connection with church buildings within certain limits.
SB 154 Caption: Relating to amending certain Acts relating to the prevention of fraud in the sale of agricultural insecticides and fungicides; authorizing the State Chemist to contract with approved commercial laboratories for analysis of samples; prohibiting disclosure of certain information to such laboratories; providing for an appropriation.
SB 167 Caption: Relating to regulation of strikes and picketing in, and prevention of and adjustment and settlement of, industrial controversies; to declare a public policy and purpose; to define terms used in this Act; to provide for requests for recognition and certification of collective bargaining representatives; to prohibit certain strikes and picketing for recognition as collective bargaining representatives; to provide election duties of the Commissioner of Bureau of Labor Statistics, including determinations of bargaining units and certifications of majority representation of labor organizations; to permit designation, or selection by secret ballot, of collective bargaining representatives; to specify rights of employees and duties of employers and labor organizations relative to self-organization, selection of collective bargaining representatives and freedom of choice of employees in such selection and duty to bargain collectively; to create a State Mediation Service within the Bureau of Labor Statistics, providing for the personnel thereof; to provide functions of the Service relative to adjustment and settlement of industrial controversies, and reports and recommendations concerning the same; to provide enforcement and prevention of violations of this Act by the Commissioner, including Court review of the Commissioner's determinations, and causes of action by employers and unions for damages and injunctive relief.
SB 198 Caption: Relating to amending the anti-trust laws of the State of Texas by adding two new subdivisions providing that it shall constitute a conspiracy in restraint of trace where any person, firm, corporation, or association of persons shall sell, lease, or contract for the sale of goods, wares, merchandise, machinery, supplies, or other commodities, or fix a price charged therefor, or discount from, or rebate upon such price on the condition, agreement, or understanding that the lessee or purchaser thereof shall not use or deal in such commodities of a competitor or competitors of the lessor or seller; or where any person, firm, corporation, or association of persons discontinues or threatens to discontinue leasing, selling, or contracting for the sale of, goods, wares, merchandise, machinery, supplies, or other commodities, to a lessee or purchaser thereof, because such lessee or purchaser has used, or dealt in the goods, wares, merchandise, machinery, supplies, or other commodities of a competitor or competitors of the lessor or seller.
SB 316 Caption: Relating to amending certain Statutes so as to give the District Judge or District Judges authority to set the salary of the County Auditor at a figure not to exceed the amount allowed or paid the Assessor-Collector of Taxes in his county.
SB 398 Caption: Relating to prohibiting any public official from receiving, or entering into agreements for, compensation or valuable consideration of any kind for services to be rendered in relation to any matter before any state executive agency, unless full disclosure of such transaction is made in sworn written statement to be filed with the Secretary of State; prescribing penalties for violation.
SB 419 Caption: Relating to amending Statutes relative to Judges Retirement System, years of service, compensation, etc.
SB 427 Caption: Relating to limiting the provisions of this Act to the Counties of Kenedy and Kleberg, making it unlawful, except under the provisions of this Act, for any person to hunt, take, kill or possess any game bird or game animal in said counties at any time; to take, kill, or trap any furbearing animal in said counties; to take or attempt to take any fresh water fish or other aquatic life in said counties by any means or method; prescribing the legislative policy with respect to the wildlife resources in said counties; conferring upon the Game and Fish Commission authority to regulate, by promulgation, order, rule or regulation, the taking of the wildlife resources of said counties.

SB 27 Caption: Relating to amending the Penal Code by providing for the continuance in existence of the State Board of Hairdressers and Cosmetologists as presently constituted and increasing the salaries of the members thereof; reuiring a license for those desiring to engage in such operations; providing penal provisions for violations of this Act.
SB 39 Caption: Relating to amending Statutes to provide that County Court may be designated as Juvenile Court of a county having two or more district courts or one or more district courts and one or more criminal districts courts, and a juvenile board, and if there is no resident District Judge in said County.
SB 42 Caption: Relating to amending the Code of Criminal Procedure of the State of Texas relating to change of venue, providing for a change of venue in the trial of felony cases or in the trial of misdemeanor cases in the County Court when jury cannot be had; providing for determination of all motions to set aside the indictment, information or complaint before granting an application for change of venue, and for determination of special pleas and exceptions filed which are to be determined by the judge, and for entry of plea of not guilty, if overruled.
SB 54 Caption: Relating to authorizing certain junior college districts to offer classes to candidates for baccalaureate degrees during their junior and senior years, and to award such degrees; providing that funds heretofore and hereafter appropriated by the Legislature of this state shall not be used to defray the costs of conducting such classes.
SB 179 Caption: Relating to amending certain Statutes relating to the appointment of public weighers in certain counties of the State, by deleting a provision that the Article shall not apply to Nueces County.
SB 251 Caption: Relating to prohibiting any person from walking upon, along, or across, or from driving or riding upon any bicycle or animal-drawn or motor-driven vehicle upon, along, or across any railroad track, team track, bridge, viaduct or trestle, with certain exceptions; and prohibiting any person from entering upon private premises or property owned by a railroad or used for the carrying on of railroad operations; and prohibiting any person from tampering with or damaging or destroying any railroad track or appurtenances of any bridge, viaduct, trestle or culvert structure supporting a railroad track or any signal system, telegraph line, telephone line, power line or signal system maintained as a railroad facility; providing penalties for violation of this Act.
SB 304 Caption: Relating to providing for the appointment of County Auditors by the District Judge and County Judge, or District Judges and County Judge, in certain counties.
SB 309 Caption: Relating to amending certain Acts relating to the continuance of suits pending in any court of this State within thirty (30) days of the date when the Legislature is to be in Session where any party applying for such continuance or any attorney for any party to such cause is a member of either branch of the Legislature; providing that such continuance shall be mandatory.
SB 318 Caption: Relating to creating the "Nueces Bridge and Tunnel Authority" comprising all the territory situated in Nueces County.
