SB 59	Caption: Relating to providing for additional statute relative to the exemption of nurses, members of the Army, Navy, and other branches of the Armed Forces from payment of the poll tax while actually in such service.
SB 76	Caption: Relating to making an appropriation of the sum of Two Hundred and Ninety-Nine ($299.00) Dollars from the State's General Revenue Fund for the purpose of reimbursing the Virgina Building Company, of Dallas, Texas, for payment of corporation franchise tax in error.
SB 82	Caption: Relating to making an appropriation of Seven Hundred Fifty ($750.00) Dollars or so much thereof as may be necessary, out of the State Highway Fund, to pay a judgment rendered September 17, 1942 in Cause No. 65866--C, William Trakas vs. State of Texas, et al, in the 68th Judicial District Court, Dallas County, Texas.
SB 174	Caption: Relating to appropriating the sum of six hundred forty-eight dollars and fifty-nine cents ($648.59) out of the General Revenue Funds of the State of Texas in order to pay the Lone Star Gas Company, a corporation, the sum of six hundred forty-eight dollars and fifty-nine cents ($648.59) which was erroneously demanded of it and required to be paid because of a misunderstanding by the taxing officials of the State of Texas.
SB 175	Caption: Relating to amending certain Acts providing that when any incorporated city containing the number of inhabitants provided in said Act is consolidated with any other municipality maintaining Fire and Police Departments, all duly appointed members of such departments shall be entitled to membership in the fund who file written application within sixty days after becoming members of such department of the consolidated city, pass a physical examination and pay into the fund within a year a sum of money equal to the salary deductions he would have paid had he been eligible for membership from the beginning and allowing the deduction from his current salary as provided in the Act.
SB 186	Caption: Relating to amending certain Acts conferring the powers necessary to enable the acquisition, clearance, and replanning of blighted areas in cities of the State.
SB 187	Caption: Relating to amending certain Acts providing for the creation of corporations for the redevelopment of blighted areas in cities.

SB 247	Caption: Relating to amending certain Acts to permit insurance companies in lieu of filing a bond or depositing securities to present a certificate showing that they have on deposit in any state of the United States or in the District of Columbia in trust Two Hundred Thousand ($200,000) Dollars for the benefit of all of such company's policyholders in the United States.
SB 248	Caption: Relating to amending statute relating to refunding bonds of levee improvement districts, by making provision that such refunding bonds may be issued by levee improvement districts payable serially or otherwise, not exceeding seventy-five years from the date thereof.
SB 280	Caption: Relating to authorizing legislative bodies of any city having a population of more than 290,000, which has adopted a comprehensive zoning ordinance to divide the city into neighborhood zoning areas.
SB 281	Caption: Relating to providing for the refunding of certain monies paid in good faith by purchasers and lessees or prospective purchasers and prospective lessees of public lands, minerals or timber, or paid in good faith on transactions in connection with such public lands, minerals and timber in instances where the funds to which such payments are accredited are not entitled to such monies.
SB 328	Caption: Relating to amending certain Acts authorizing the State Board of Education to purchase text books and recorded Spanish exercises for teaching the Spanish language in such grades or sections of grades as may be designated by Board of Trustees in Independent and Common School Districts of the state.

SB 14	Caption: Relating to amending a certain Article providing for the authorization of the issuance of free passes on carriers to the members of families of furloughed, pensioned, and superannuated employees; the widows of deceased former superannuated and/or pensioned employees; the remains of any persons killed or who may have died in the employment of a common carrier; providing the Act shall take effect from and after its passage.
