SB 59 Caption: Relating to providing for additional statute relative to the exemption of nurses, members of the Army, Navy, and other branches of the Armed Forces from payment of the poll tax while actually in such service.
SB 76 Caption: Relating to making an appropriation of the sum of Two Hundred and Ninety-Nine ($299.00) Dollars from the State's General Revenue Fund for the purpose of reimbursing the Virgina Building Company, of Dallas, Texas, for payment of corporation franchise tax in error.
SB 82 Caption: Relating to making an appropriation of Seven Hundred Fifty ($750.00) Dollars or so much thereof as may be necessary, out of the State Highway Fund, to pay a judgment rendered September 17, 1942 in Cause No. 65866--C, William Trakas vs. State of Texas, et al, in the 68th Judicial District Court, Dallas County, Texas.
SB 174 Caption: Relating to appropriating the sum of six hundred forty-eight dollars and fifty-nine cents ($648.59) out of the General Revenue Funds of the State of Texas in order to pay the Lone Star Gas Company, a corporation, the sum of six hundred forty-eight dollars and fifty-nine cents ($648.59) which was erroneously demanded of it and required to be paid because of a misunderstanding by the taxing officials of the State of Texas.
SB 175 Caption: Relating to amending certain Acts providing that when any incorporated city containing the number of inhabitants provided in said Act is consolidated with any other municipality maintaining Fire and Police Departments, all duly appointed members of such departments shall be entitled to membership in the fund who file written application within sixty days after becoming members of such department of the consolidated city, pass a physical examination and pay into the fund within a year a sum of money equal to the salary deductions he would have paid had he been eligible for membership from the beginning and allowing the deduction from his current salary as provided in the Act.
SB 186 Caption: Relating to amending certain Acts conferring the powers necessary to enable the acquisition, clearance, and replanning of blighted areas in cities of the State.
