An Act creating the County Criminal Court at Law Nos. 5, 6, and 7 of Harris County, Texas; Providing for the organization thereof and practice therein; prescribing the jursidiction and terms thereof, defining the powers, rights and privileges of the Judge thereof; providing for clerks therefor in criminal matters and causes and prescribing their duties; providing for the creation of criminal dockets; providing for the appointment, election and compensation of the Judge of the Court and prescribing his qualifications; providing for the collection of fees; providing for an official seal of the Court; prescribing certain duties of sheriffs and constables in relation to the Court; providing for a special Judge; providing for return and validity of process in transferred cases; providing for severability; repealilng all laws or parts of laws in conflict herewith; and declaring an emergency.
