Proposing an amendment to Section 3, Article 7 of the Constitution of the State of Texas, authorizing a levy and collection of an ad valorem county tax not to exceed 50 cents on the $100 valuation of property, to be used for the transportation of children to and from the public free schools, and for such other purposes as the local school tax may be used; providing for an appropriation therefor.
