Proposing an amendment to Section 1-a of Article VIII of the Constitution of Texas, exempting Three Thousand Dollars ($3,000.00) of the assessed taxable value of all residence homesteads as now defined by law from all taxation for all purposes, excepting, until the expiration of such remission period or the need of such remission period or the need of such remission, that portion of the State ad valorem taxes remitted within certain counties and political subdivisions now receiving a remission of such taxes.
