HB 814, 49th R.S.
Relating to providing for the appointment and fixing the salary of an under-sheriff in all counties having a population of three hundred ninety-five thousand (395,000) inhabitants and not more than four hundred twenty thousand (420,000) according to the last preceding Federal census, or any future federal census, and providing that any limitations fixed in existing laws applicable to the compensation of deputies of the sheriff in such counties shall not apply to the salary of the chief deputy.
