Relating to amending certain Acts regulating retirement compensation for State employees by reducing creditable service from thirty (30) to twenty-five (25) years, and by adding a provision entitling any member to his service retirement allowance who shall have completed twenty (20) years or more of creditable service as a law enforcement officer of the State of Texas; reducing the period for prior service credit from five (5) to two (2) consecutive years, and entitling an employee to receive credit for all services rendered by him prior to and since the establishment of the Retirement System.
