SB 249, 60th R.S.
Relating to amending the Code of Criminal Procedure so as to provide that whoever, having been admitted to bail for appearance before any court of record of this state, incurs a forfeiture of the bail and knowingly and willfully fails to surrender himself within thirty (30) days following the date of such forfeiture, shall, if the bail was given in connection with a charge of felony or pending appeal after conviction of any offense, or if the bail was given in connection with a charge of committing a misdemeanor, or for appearance as a witness, be fined or imprisoned; providing penalties for violation.
