SB 720, 62nd R.S.
Relating to Death Benefit Plans, and providing that the optional plans now provided for members who complete twenty (20)or more years of creditable state service in Texas be extended to members who complete ten (10) or more years of creditable state service but less than twenty (20) years of such creditable service, and that the benefits under such plans now authorized for the surviving spouses or minor children of such members, including the choice of an option by the surviving spouse, or guardian of the surviving minor children, in the event the member failed to make a selection before death, be extended also to include members who complete ten (10) years but less than thirty (30) years of creditable state service in Texas.
