Paying tribute to the life of Judge James Garrison Strong, the distinguished man who was an inspiration to his family and friends as well as the citizens of this state; extending sympathy to the members of his family on their great loss: his wife, Mrs. Willie Belle Strong of Carthage; his daughter, Mrs. Edgar Clark of Carthage; and his sons, former Senator Jack B. Strong of Longview and James Strong of Memphis, Tennessee; providing that copies of this resolution be prepared for members of his family as a token of recognition from the Texas Legislature for the service and many contributions to Texas of Judge James Garrison Strong.
