Commending the life of "Ivory" Joe Hunter, distinguished pianist, composeer, and blues singer, and extending sympathy to the family of this truly exceptional man: his son, Sherman Hunter of New York; his sisters, Jewel Droun and Ethel May Spikes, both of Reno, Nevada; his brother, Bennie D. Hunter of Oakland, California; and his nephew, R. A. Hunter of Kirbyville; providing for copies of this Resolution to be prepared for the members of his family as a tribute by the Texas Legislature in memory of "Ivory" Joe Hunter.
