Relating to revising the punishment applicable to Class C misdemeanors to include confinement in jail and increasing the amount of the fine that may be imposed in a Class C misdemeanor, providing that offenses under the Uniform Act Regulating Traffic on Highways for which a specific penalty is not provided are Class C misdemeanors, amending the criminal jurisdiction of justice and municipal courts, and revising certain provisions relating to the prosecution of and imposition of sentence in misdemeanor cases.
