Recognizing the value and necessity of preserving and promoting the history of the Texas Navy; designating The Texas Navy, Incorporated, a nonprofit corporation, as the official body to conduct the affairs of the Texas Navy; prescribing its duties and functions; providing for appointment of members to its board of directors by state officials; providing that state funds shall not be required for its activities.
