Relating to the licensing and regulation of ambulance services and ambulance personnel and equipment by the Division of Emergeny Medical Services in the State Department of Health; providing the powers, duties, and procedures of the division in carrying out the provisions of this Act; prescribing required equipment and personnel on ambulances and equipment for certain rescue vehicles; providing for temporary provisional permits and provisional certificates under certain circumstances; authorizing certain local regulation and procedures for granting a variance; providing for conforming with federal standard by a political subdivision seeking federal aid; providing certain exemptions; providing a schedule of fees and their disposition; providing for keeping of records by ambulance services; eliminating requirement of consent for emergency aid in certain cases; providing for training courses; providing for notice and hearings; providing for waiver of provisions of the Act under certain circumstances; providing effective dates for compliance.
