Creating a special committee to provide for placing the seals of the six nations which have governed Texas on the outside of the Capitol in the indentations across the front portico, immediately below the present location of a lighted star; providing that the committee shall be composed of three Senators, appointed by the Lieutenant Governor, three members of the House of Representatives, appointed by the Speaker of the House, the chairman of the State Board of Control, or a staff member of the board, designed by the chairman, the director of the State Building Commission, or a member of the commission's staff designated by the director, and the director-librarian of the state library, or a staff member of the archives division designated by the director-librarian; providing that the committee shall decide on the type of seals to be used and shall commission the making of the seals, which shall be paid for from funds of the State Board of Control; providing that actual and necessary expenses of the committee in connection with the activities of the committee shall be paid from the contingent expense funds of the Senate and the House of Representatives.
