SB 17, 64th R.S.
Relating to the prevention and cleanup of oil and hazardous substances discharged or spilled into the coastal waters of the state; providing the power, authority, and responsibility of the Texas Water Quality Board, the State Highway Department, and the governor, in cooperation with the federal and local governments and other state agencies and departments, to carry out the provisions of this Act; establishing the Texas Coastal Protection Fund; adding Subchapter K to chapter 21 of the Water Code; defining certain offenses and providing civil and criminal penalties.
