SB 55, 33rd R.S.
Relating to amending the code of criminal procedure of the state, and prescribing that after conviction of a defendant of a lower degree of offence than that for which he is indicted, that on any second or subsequent trial, the first trial shall not be considered an acquittal of the higher offence and the case shall stand for trial de novo as if no former trial had been had.
