Relating to amending the Code of Criminal Procedure by providing that in counties having a population in excess of 40,000 inhabitants and less than 350,000 inhabitants, according to the last preceding or any future Federal Census, the Commissioners' Court may allow each Chief Jailer a monthly salary of Two Hundred ($200.00) Dollars per month and may allow one Assistant Jailer a monthly salary of One Hundred Seventy-five ($175.00) Dollars per month.
