Relating to the authority of the Texas State Board of Medical Examiners to receive criminal records and reports of law enforcement agencies or other sources on its licensees and applicants for licensure; relating to submission by the Texas State Board of Medical Examiners to the Department of Public Safelty of fingerprints of applicants for licensure for classification and checking; relating to the duties of the Department of Public Safety concerning its findings; making the information received by the board privileged, not to be disclosed except on court order; providing for opportunity for hearings for applicant or licensee prior to action on application for license or for revocation, cancellation, or suspension of license; providing for severability.
