HBA-JRA H.B. 2407 76(R)BILL ANALYSIS Office of House Bill AnalysisH.B. 2407 By: Flores Agriculture & Livestock 7/22/1999 Enrolled BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE Fruit and vegetable farmers typically sell produce to dealers on credit. The produce recovery fund was established in 1977 to help farmers recover losses from dealers who do not pay.
