BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE

Currently, certain federal criminal investigators have powers of arrest,
search, and seizure as to felony offenses under the laws of this state.

under the laws of this state committed within the boundaries of a national
park or national recreation area to commissioned law enforcement officers
of the National Park Service.

RULEMAKING AUTHORITY

It is the opinion of the Office of House Bill Analysis that this bill does
not expressly delegate any additional rulemaking authority to a state
officer, department, agency, or institution.
