- Monitor implementation of state laws and rules relating to barratry, lawyer advertising and other aspects of professional conduct in the legal system.
- Study and make recommendations regarding the system of resolving disputes relating to ad valorem taxation.
- Study and make recommendations regarding such other issues as are within the jurisdiction of the committee during legislative sessions.
