Committee charges and legislative reports
Search for studies conducted by legislative committees. Committee studies begin with a charge, which describes the topic of study. Charges may be assigned by the presiding officer of a chamber; by legislation; or by a committee chair. Some committees issue written reports; others simply study or monitor an issue and do not issue a report.
Charges and reports are listed by the Legislature that ordered a study rather than the Legislature that received the report. For example, use "78th - 2003" to find reports issued by the 78th Legislature to the 79th Legislature.
