Standing Committee on Joint Indian Affairs appointed in addition to Committee on Indian Affairs 11/9/1859; on motion of Wilson, the Senate's resolution, that the Senate's committee on Indian Affairs act jointly with a like committee on the part of the House, was taken from the Speaker's stand and adopted 11/12/1859 (House Journal, 8th R.S., p. 15-16, 64).
