Resolution by Erath, that the Committee on Indian Affairs of the Senate act jointly with a like committee on the part of the House whenever it may be deemed expedient, adopted 11/9/1859 (Senate Journal, 8th R.S., p. 11).

Erath listed as Chair on committee reports. Neal added 3/19/1861 to the various committees on which Britton had been placed (Senate Journal, 8th Adjourned, p. 112).
