- Consider the advisability of abolishing and discontinuing the frontier battalion, and report a bill, if necessary, substituting the same by creating a smaller force, whose duty shall be fully defined; said committee to examine fully into the management, expenditures, etc. of said frontier battalion for the last two years, and said committee shall report their action at as early a day as practicable.
