House Committee on Divorce Laws - 57th R.S. (1961)
- Make a comprehensive study of divorce and the laws relating thereto, giving special attention to the rights children, methods for promoting the public welfare by preserving, promoting and protecting family life and the institution of matrimony, and to the possible methods which might encourage the reconciliation of spouses and the amicable settlement of domestic and family controversies.
