• Undertake a study of the whole problem of delinquent ad valorem taxes in Texas, the causes for such tax delinquencies and omitted assessments, the reasons why these taxes are not collected and all other relevant matters.

Appointed by Lieutenant Governor (Senate Journal appendix, 61st Regular, p. 2326) and Speaker 11/18/1969 (House Journal, 61st 2nd C.S., p. 379), pursuant to SCR 4, 2nd C.S. Speaker appointed Cory as Chair in journal; Bates listed as Chair on report.
