Charges
- Design a basic health plan for uninsured and underinsured individuals who cannot afford or acquire adequate health insurance. It shall be the responsibility of the commission to: (a) identify target populations; (b) develop benefit plans, including cost projections; and (c) recommend and administrative plan for implementation, including consideration of public policy issues designed to make maximum use of existing public and private resources to provide health care accessibility to the maximum number of persons.
