Resolved, that the House of Representatives of the 62nd Legislature hereby create a special study committee to be called the Capitol Exterminating Committee; the committee shall be charged with the responsibility of controlling and eradicating all insects, varmints, and pests which inhabit the halls of the Texas State Capitol, including ants and anthropods, bats and beetles, crickets and cockroaches, rodents and reptiles, worms and weasels, and any other undesirable Capitol creature which flys by night - or day - or which stalks the stately halls of the Capitol in search of innocent victims without a clearance pass, regardless of whether such creatures are four-legged, two-legged, or multi-legged; and be it further
Resolved, that the Speaker of the House shall appoint five Members of the House of Representatives to serve on the committee, who are specialists in dealing with undesirable creatures, parliamentary pests, or strange birds with weird bills.
