Charges

• Conduct an inquiry, to be limited to one week in duration, and to all matters properly bearing upon the task of providing efficiently for a continued old age assistance in Texas, including the number, distribution and circumstances of those now receiving old age assistance, the number and status of applications for such assistance, the methods and policies of those in charge of administering old age assistance and the attitude and views of the Social Security Board or its agents in Texas toward the old age assistance situation in this State.
