Charges:	This report should address the charges below.
1.	RESOLVED, By the Senate of the State of Texas, the House of Representatives concurring, that there shall be named a committee of five (5) to appoint and designate some outstanding and recognized poet who is a citizen of Texas, who shall be Poet Laureate of the State of Texas for a period of two (2) years from such appointment and designation.
2.	RESOLVED, That an alternate Poet Laureate with the same qualifications of the Poet Laureate be appointed for the same period of time, who shall serve in the event of the death or resignation of the Poet Laureate.
