HB 76	Caption: Relating to amending Statutes so as to provide for temporary registration of motor buses.

HB 362	Caption: Relating to providing that no legal reserve stock life, accident or health insurance Company shall hereafter be incorporated or admitted to do business in this state unless the amount of its paid in capital stock shall be at least $100,000 except as hereinafter expressly provided in this Act.
HB 847	Caption: Relating to amending certain Statutes so as to give general contractual power to the married women in regards to her separate property; defining the wife's separate property protected from the debts contracted by the husband; defining property subject to the debts of the wife and repealing Statutes relating to the application to be feme sole.
HB 848	Caption: Relating to amending the Penal Code to provide the death penalty for anyone assaulting with the intent to rape a female seven (7) years of age or under and amending Statues so as to provide that anyone who kidnaps any person seven (7) years of age or under for the purpose or with the intent of committing any sexual offense or bodily harm shall be subject upon conviction therefore to death penalty.

HCR 153	Caption: Providing for Members of the Legislature to represent the State and attend certain councils and committee that the Legislature deem appropriate.
HJR 7	Caption: Proposing an amendment to the Constitution of the State of Texas increasing the total amount of bonds or obligations that may be issued by the Veterans' Land Board by One Hundred Million Dollars ($100,000,000), and providing for the issuance of the bonds and certain conditions relating thereto and the use of the Veterans' Land Fund.

HB 215	Caption: Relating to coercion in the placing of insurance on real or personal property.
HB 400	Caption: Relating to amending certain Statutes to provide that the Treasurer, with the consent of the Comptroller of Public Accounts, may substitute a recapitulation of totals of warrants paid each day in lieu of copies of warrants paid registers.
HB 407	Caption: Relating to providing for a limitation statute on suspense and trust fund refund warrants drawn by the Comptroller of Public Accounts; to provide for disposition of any moneys represented by warrants voided by this Act; to provide for certain records in the office of the State Treasurer.
HB 616	Caption: Relating to amending certain Acts so as to provide that the Veterans Land Board may purchase land with one-half (1/2) of the mineral estate outstanding, if same was outstanding on June 6, 1949, and purchase land with a one-sixteenth (1/16) royalty outstanding which has become outstanding after June 6, 1949; providing that the veteran may request a removal or reduction of mineral requirements and the Veterans Land Board shall have power to remove or reduce such requirements.
HB 639	Caption: Relating to making an appropriation of $246,537.53 out of funds not otherwise appropriated to be allocated to the counties of Andrews, Crane, Crockett, Culberson, Dawson, Ector, El Paso, Gaines, Hudspeth, Irion, Loving, Martin, Pecos, Reagan, Schleicher, Terrell, Upton, Ward, and Winkler in payment of delinquent taxes on university lands for the years 1950, 1951, and 1952 as shown by the records of the State Comptroller of Public Accounts.
HB 892	Caption: Relating to making it unlawful to take or kill wild quail of any species for a period of three (3) years in Andrews County, Texas; fixing a penalty.

HJR 42	Caption: Proposing a constitutional amendment to provide that the County Commissioners' Court of any county of the State of Texas shall be empowered to abolish or continue to maintain the office or offices of Constable, within their respective counties, as now provided for by the Constitution of the State of Texas, at the discretion of said County Commissioners' Court, in the November 1954, general election.
