HB 160 Caption: Relating to amending Statutes by providing for revocation of certificates and permits because of nonuse for a period of five years or more.
HB 229 Caption: Relating to levying a tax on gas brought to the surface of the earth and reduced to possession, with certain exceptions; providing that the tax shall be paid by the "beneficial owner" of such gas, and by those owning the working interests in the event there is no "beneficial owner" as that term is defined; defining terms; providing for certain reports; providing for payment of the tax; providing for liens to secure payment of the tax; providing penalties and interest for late payments; providing for suits for collection of the tax.
HB 262 Caption: Relating to blood tests and other tests of persons accused of driving while intoxicated; stating rules concerning competency, admissibility and effect of evidence of alcohol content in the blood.
HB 263 Caption: Relating to amending certain Statutes to provide a lien in favor of hotels, boarding houses, rooming houses, inns, tourist courts, and motel on guests' properties for all sums due from such guests; providing for retention of possession of such properties; providing for exemption from attachment and execution during such retention of possession.
HB 264 Caption: Relating to restricted traffic zones on county-owned property; amending Statutes to change the population figure from 800,000 to 150,000 so as to make the Act applicable to counties having a population of 150,000 or more.
HB 296 Caption: Relating to licenses upon stores and mercantile establishments; deleting provisions excluding gasoline filling stations, service stations, gasoline bulk stations or plants, and places of business used as wholesale or retail distributing points by manufacturing concerns for distribution of products of their own manufacture only from the definition of "store or mercantile establishment".
HB 297 Caption: Relating to authorizing the appointment of two chief deputies for the assessor and collector of taxes in each county of this State having a population of one hundred and fifty thousand (150,000) inhabitants or more, to be known as the chief deputy assessor and the chief deputy collector; providing for their compensation and method of appointment; providing that this Act shall be cumulative of existing laws.
HB 310 Caption: Relating to amending Statutes so as to levy an occupation tax on the production of residue gas at a flat rate on each one thousand (1,000) cubic feet of gas produced, defining certain terms and providing for collection of the tax.
HB 311 Caption: Relating to amending Statutes so as to provide that the term "waste" in addition to its ordinary meaning shall include economic waste and shall also include the failure of a producer of gas to pass on to the purchaser gas production taxes in certain instances.
HB 312 Caption: Relating to amending Statutes by providing that the term "waste" as therein defined shall include economic waste, and by adding a new subsection providing that waste shall include the production, sale, purchase, or use of gas at less than the prescribed minimum price, except in certain stated instances; prescribing the minimum price for such gas; defining additional terms and providing methods for making certain determinations.
HB 605 Caption: Relating to providing procedures and requirements for annexation and disannexation of territory by home rule cities; for suit in a district court to try the validity and existence of the prescribed facts and procedures; for appeal.
HB 743 Caption: Relating to authorizing the sale at public auction with reservation of minerals of certain State-owned lands in Nueces County to either the City of Corpus Christi or Nueces County under certain conditions.
HB 909 Caption: Relating to prohibiting the peddling or use of finger alphabet cards or printed matter stating that the person is deaf, under certain circumstances; excepting certain persons from the provisions of the Act; providing a penalty for violation.

HB 248 Caption: Relating to requiring all railroad companies to equip all section, bridge and building department, and maintenance of way department motor cars operated by any railroad in this State with electric headlight, rear electric light, windshield, windshield and wiper, and canopy or top; prescribing the time that lights shall be lighted; providing a penalty.
HB 266 Caption: Relating to authorizing and directing the Texas State Parks Board to maintain and acquire public hunting lands; directing that the public hunting lands be clearly designated and marked; providing that hunting on the public hunting grounds shall be subject to all hunting and game laws in effect in the area or county where the public hunting lands lie; providing an appropriation.
HB 285 Caption: Relating to making it unlawful for any person, firm, or corporation owning and being in possession of land in the State of Texas declared a State Game Preserve to enclose such land in a manner preventing the free ingress and egress of public game animals; making it unlawful to maintain an enclosure around such land which prevents the free ingress and egress of public game animals; providing a penalty.
HB 372 Caption: Relating to providing for an amendment relative to powers of eminent domain available to water control and improvement districts under the general law; pertaining to acquiring property, real and personal, located both inside the District and outside the District.
HB 431 Caption: Relating to amending certain Acts by providing that no County Auditor shall be appointed in any county having a population of not more than 25,500 and not less than 3,000 where no such County Auditor has been appointed by the District Judge prior to the effective date of this Act.
HB 480 Caption: Relating to amending the Penal Code to provide for blood tests of persons accused of driving while intoxicated.
HB 481 Caption: Relating to amending certain Acts by raising the age limit of participation in Firemen and Policemen's Civil Service to thirty-eight (38).
HB 482 Caption: Relating to authorizing the appointment of two (2) chief deputies for each tax assessor and collector in each county of this State having a population of one hundred thousand (100,000) inhabitants or more to be known as the chief deputy assessor and the chief deputy collector.
HB 483 Caption: Relating to authorizing the Commissioner's Courts in certain counties to create safety zones on County roads adjacent to public schools; authorizing the establishment of traffic regulations within said zones; prescribing penalties for violation thereof.
HB 484 Caption: Relating to amending certain Acts by providing that a person who has been a resident of Texas for five (5) years and has two (2) years of pharmaceutical training, and an additional two (2) years of practical experience under the supervision of a registered pharmacist may be allowed to take a special examination given by the State Board of Pharmacy; providing the scope of the examination.
HB 485 Caption: Relating to validating bonds heretofore voted by water control and improvement districts and proceedings and elections relating thereto and providing that such bonds when approved by the Attorney General and registered by the Comptroller and sold and delivered shall be binding, legal, valid, and enforceable obligations.
HB 631 Caption: Relating to validating, ratifying, approving and confirming certain proceedings and bonds heretofore voted and issued or authorized by any fresh water supply district.
HB 811 Caption: Relating to requiring that motor vehicles operated in this State be equipped with a governor or other device automatically preventing operation in excess of a certain speed; prescribing certain offenses and providing penalties therefor.
HJR 22 Caption: Proposing a constitutional amendment extending the right of homestead exemption to a divorced woman or widow who did not own a homestead at the time the marriage was dissolved, and providing that a single person with dependents may have or acquire a homestead.
HR 40 Caption: Electing the children of a Member of the House to the office of Mascot.
HR 315 Caption: Congratulating the newly elected presiding officers for the Oak Park Parent Teacher Association.
