HB 103 Caption: Relating to prescribing minimum educational standards and to establish a State Board of Examiners in the Basic Sciences; providing for its appointment and organization and defining its powers; defining the healing arts; making certification by the State Board of Examiners in the Basic Sciences a prerequisites to eligibility for examination for licence to practice the healing arts; establishing eligibility requirements for certification by the Board of Examiners in the Basic Sciences; fixing fees to be paid and providing compensation and expenses of the Board of Examiners in the Basic Sciences; providing for appeals from action by the Board; defining and prohibiting fraudulent and void certificates and licences and establishing procedures for their revocation and cancellation; providing penalties for practicing any branch of the healing arts without valid certification from the State Board of Examiners in the Basic Sciences; providing penalties for bribing, attempting to bribe accepting a bribe, or agreeing to accept a bribe under this law; providing methods of enforcement of this Act; providing that if any section, part of a section or provision of this Act is held to be unconstitutional such holding shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions of this Act; providing for non-repeal of existing medical license laws.
HB 145 Caption: Relating to amending H. B. 17, Acts, Regular Session of 46th Legislature, shall be administered by the "Texas Real Estate Commission"; providing that the Texas Real Estate Commission will stand in lieu of the Secretary of Texas and the Administer of the Securities Division; making certain exceptions; providing criminal penalties and enforcement actions for violations; providing a saving clause.
HB 216 Caption: Relating to authorizing the Commissioners' Court of Counties in which there is located a County-owned hospital to lease said hospital to private sources upon a vote or by petition of the people of said county.
HB 302 Caption: Relating to making it unlawful for any person to hunt, snare, kill, or attempt to kill by any means whatsoever any wild deer, buck, doe, or fawn in the Counties of Newton, Jasper, San Augustine, Sabine, Panola, and Shelby in the State of Texas, for a period of five (5) years from and after the passage of this Act; providing a penalty therefor.
HB 397 Caption: Relating to authorizing the Commissioners' Court of Newton County in which there is located a County-owned hospital to lease said hospital to private sources upon a vote of the people of said county.

HB 31 Caption: Relating to fixing the compensation of sheriffs in all counties of the State of Texas having a population of not less than ten thousand (10,000) and not more than twenty thousand (20,000) inhabitants according to the last Federal Census, providing for appointment of one regular deputy sheriff and fixing the compensation of such deputy.
HB 411 Caption: Relating to providing that wild fox may be taken or killed at any time in Newton and Jasper Counties, Texas; providing that the hides and pelts thereof may be sold; repealing all laws or parts of laws in conflict herewith.
HB 537 Caption: Relating to making it the duty of the State Health Officer to determine and define areas in which foxes or other wild animals infected with rabies exist, and authorizing the State Health Officer to pay bounties for destruction of such animals and for the publication thereof; repealing all laws or parts of laws in conflict herewith; providing a saving clause.
HB 696 Caption: Relating to releasing the interest and penalties on all delinquent ad valorem and poll taxes that were delinquent on or before July 1, 1946, due the State, any county, common school district, road district, levee improvement district, water improvement district, and water control and improvement district, irrigation district, and other defined subdivisions of the State, provided same are paid on or before December 1, 1947; providing that all laws in conflict with this Act are expressly suspended during the term of this Act; providing that if any section, clause, sentence, paragraph, or part of the Act be judged to be invalid by any court or final or competent jurisdiction, such judgement shall not affect, impari, or invalidate the remainder of the Act.
HB 708 Caption: Relating to amending certain Articles by providing that no person who advocates the overthrow by force or violence or change by unconstitutional means of the present constitutional from of government, shall be eligible to have his or her name printed on any official ballot used in general, special or primary elections.
